Welcome to Birch Therapy’s online portal. If you are a potential client seeking treatment for you and/or your family, please click on Operations Director, Ginger Espino, and schedule a FREE 15 minute discovery call. After May 18th, please schedule on our NEW Care Coordinator’s calendar, Maddie Wyatt, virtually. This helps our clinical director and practice owner, Jenn Birch, match you with the best fit therapist and best meet your needs. Please note we are an out of network practice. If you are an existing client of one of our 25 clinicians, see direct scheduling below to book on their respective portal. Thank you for reaching out, and we look forward to supporting you during this season!

** Beginning May 1, 2026, we will be moving from a **24-hour to a 48-hour cancellation notice requirement. This change is being made with care and intention. Our clinicians rely on a consistent and predictable schedule in order to provide high-quality care. When appointments are canceled on short notice, that time is typically impossible to refill from our wait list which directly impacts client care. We understand that life happens, and we always aim to approach these situations with compassion. To support flexibility, the late cancellation fee will be waived if you are able to reschedule your appointment within seven (7) days of the original session. We also want to emphasize that when children are sick, we strongly encourage parents to switch to a virtual session or parent session. This policy helps us maintain a healthy environment for all our families and clinicians and ensures that children are able to get the most out of their time with the clinician. The full updated cancellation policy will be sent to you through Jane. As always, we encourage you to reach out if you have questions or concerns about this change, and we truly appreciate your understanding and your continued commitment to the therapeutic process.

My Style

Erin works from a family-centered approach, based upon the belief that the most effective way to ensure safety, permanency, and well-being is to provide services that engage, involve, strengthen, and support families as a whole. She enjoys using a variety of modalities to best meet the preferences of her clients, including mindfulness, motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT, as well as TF-CBT. Erin has also found great value in the use of therapeutic enhancements such as play, art, and sand tray, which can be both effective and enjoyable ways to connect with youth.

Currently, Erin resides in Southern Wake County with her husband and two teenage daughters (ages 15 and 18), as well as two dogs and a cat who keep life even more interesting. When she is not working, Erin enjoys practicing her own mindfulness through holistic cooking and exercise, as well as making time for hobbies that include knitting and music.
